Yesterday…

in clinical my friend and I did all our work, so we got to go follow around the wound doctor. it was interesting, they talked about there personal lives while walking around and such. it kinda felt like greys anatomy.

My nephew has a DS and the other day we asked me to play with him, and i was so shocked & happy to see that he was playing the original sonic games that were on Sega!  & he started showing me how to play and i was like “jayden, i was born in the 90s, i know what am doing” and it was so funny because he’s 4 and he has no idea what i was talking about. lol.

#disgusted

today in clinical we were going over meds. one was a prophylaxis and our instructor was asking us if anyone knew what that meant.  she told us that it was preventive medication and that sometimes condoms are called prophylaxis. while moving her hand in a whatever motion one girl said “Oh, i hate contraceptives.” We were all in silence for a good awkward minute. 

Like why would you say that to a professional women in that way, no less your instructor.
